We’re currently in need of volunteers to fill the following roles:
Client Advocate
Role will be four hours per day, once a week (Wednesdays or Thursdays), and all training and educational materials will be provided. This role is responsible for the following:
- Meets directly with clients to provide one-on-one support and build relationships
- Makes community referrals
- Provides education regarding pregnancy, parenting, relationships, life skills, and spiritual growth
Event Support
- Assist with planning and set-up of one-time fundraising events.
Receptionist/Secretary
- Greets visitors with a friendly welcome
- Answers phone calls
- Schedules appointments
- Checks out clients after shopping in Baby Boutique
Church Liaisons
- Initiates and facilitates congregational involvement between church and center
Fundraising Coordinator
- Assists with fundraising events for the center
Marketing Consultant
- Assists with the development of marketing materials
- Finds opportunities to advertise center services
- Develops and maintains community relations

Director of Client Services (Part-time)
Pregnancy Services of Ionia County (PSIC) – Ionia, MI
Reports to: Executive Director
Supervises: Volunteers
Status: Part-time (15–20 hours/week)
Position Overview
Pregnancy Services of Ionia County (PSIC) is seeking a mission-driven Director of Client Services to lead and support our client care operations and volunteer team.
This role is ideal for someone who feels called to ministry, values life, and thrives in a relational, service-oriented environment. As a representative of Jesus Christ, the Director of Client Services will help ensure that every client interaction reflects compassion, excellence, and dignity.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Services
- Communicate with clients and manage appointment scheduling
- Ensure high-quality, compassionate client care
- Oversee client documentation and recordkeeping systems
- Develop and implement client follow-up processes
- Maintain client services inventory and resources
- Serve as a Client Advocate and lead by example
Volunteer Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers
- Establish clear roles and expectations for volunteer team
- Foster a positive, unified office culture
- Conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback
- Lead volunteer meetings and ongoing training
- Plan volunteer appreciation efforts with Executive Director
Operations & Administration
- Support day-to-day office operations and procedures
- Assist in developing and improving organizational processes
- Collaborate with Executive Director on organizational needs
Development & Community Engagement
- Assist with planning and executing fundraising events
- Maintain donor and volunteer contact records
- Help create and distribute newsletters and communications
- Build relationships with churches, donors, and community partners
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
Qualifications
- Committed Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
- Strong alignment with the sanctity of all human life
- Agreement with PSIC’s Commitment of Care & Competence and core values
- Experience in office management, administration, or team leadership preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to lead volunteers with clarity, encouragement, and accountability
- High school diploma or GED required
